Crawlfish and Off Season Pay-Per-View

So last night was the first wrestling pay per view of the off season. We kicked it off right with plenty of friends, pizza, desserts and against Yam's wishes...CRAWLFISH! We had everything from sugar cookies to chocolate eclair to chocolate chip pie and let me tell you it was all amazing! There is nothing like a great afternoon/evening with friends and good food! Check out the photos below...

The boys took 10 pounds of shrimp and crawlfish then boiled it with a mixture of Old Bay Seasoning, Corn, Sausage and potatoes...let me tell you it was delicious...if you could get past how it was just spread out on the trays...:)This video is of David describing how to properly eat a crawlfish...

This video is of Jesse and David after they realized they could put the crawlfish on their fingers and make finger puppets...

Yam was very happy I made a chocolate eclair...I made no promises it was as good as the ones my mom makes...that is just impossible. I'm trying though...;)

Also...check out my wrestling shirt I got for nights like this...pretty neat huh? Should I mention I forgot I had this shirt on and went to the grocery store...yeah that was interesting!

And if you are reading this and it is still August 18th...even if it is after...call and wish my daddy a Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Daddy!! We love you!

Pottery Fun!

I was looking at the photos of the last few months, trying to fit it all in a few blogs when I noticed I had left out some pretty good ones. The last time Jesse and I came home to Coats it was the Member/Guest Golf Tournament at Chicora. Well why the guys were busy playing lots and lots of golf, mom and I had the best time out gallivanting!

On Sunday afternoon, we went to a place in Fuquay called Crazy Glaze and painted pottery. I know I am 24 and probably shouldn't get so excited about pottery...but let me tell you...that was the most fun I have had in a long time. My Aunt Christy, cousin Lawren, my mom and I went and it was the most amazing time. We laughed till we cried and ended up with some great pottery...well we should have...it only took us 2 1/2 hours to create the masterpieces below.

Check them out...
First is my platter I painted with my new last name...Danner. If you stop by our place you will definitely see this displayed after all the work it took to make it...plus it matches and has polka dots!

The next masterpiece is my mom's...after her and my aunt Christy picked out their colors she painted this very beautiful and classy bowl to put in her new house...how cute?

Next is my cousin Lawren's masterpiece....notice she completed 2 in the time it took us three to complete one...

Last but definitely not least is my aunt Christy's masterpiece. She painted a large platter for her mantle. Very classy, cute but not too busy...and look at those swirls..wow!

Well that is it for this post...more to come from the weekend...:)

We made breakfast for Jesse...check out how awesome it looks for Carter and I! :)

We took Lola for a bike ride after a getting back from the beach...Jamie was hilarious riding Jesse's bike...it was a little too large.

After soaking up one too many rays, we went to Dry Street for some AmAzInG pizza!

Later that night we went to Spikes Dairy Bar, enjoyed some great ice cream and came back to hang out with everyone at our apartment.

This video is of Lola when she was very sleepy from everyone spoiling her...

Lola and I enjoyed being lazy on Sunday afternoon. But we really missed Jesse...he had to work.

Before Jamie left we went to lunch and it was soo good....what did we have? More pizza of course...haha :) It was a great end to a great weekend!

Fun Times at Caswell

Jesse and the rest of the full time staff did a dance for the Talent Show...it was freaking hilarious. Who knew my husband was so talented?

We made a sign for our hubby's to show our support! It states "Caswell wifey's love our Caswell hubby's!"

We went and hung out with everyone one afternoon at the beach. While we were there we made a huge sandcastle. Fun times!

How beautiful is this sunset?

Just one of the many we see throughout the summer...

We went on a walk down to the water one night....

look at the amazing sunset!

The staff had an event called Christmas in July. Jesse and I went thrift store shopping earlier that day and found these amazing outfits I have to say I was with the hottest guy there...something about those polyester pants and red suspenders....

I loved this sign...it states..."Your husband called and said you can buy whatever you want!"

We have had a ball with the summer staff this year...

From baking cupcakes to sitting out on the rocking chairs, we enjoyed everyone so much!
Then we added to the family with our precious puppy Lola. She is six months old and a minature schnauzer and border terrier mix. She is the most loving dog of all time and we love having her around now!

This photo was taken the night we got her and before we had her groomed.

This photo is of Lola's favorite spot...Jesse's lap.

This photo was taken on the 4th of July at the street dance.
We had such a good time with all the great food, music, fireworks and family being here.

This photo was taken on our trip to Coats. We enjoyed family coming down to have dinner and spend time together.

Lola has a new favorite spot...the couch on the screened in porch...or as we call "Lola's Wing"
