We Got the Beat...well sorta...ok not at all...

I cannot believe these videos are actually going on the web but they are just too funny to not put up on the blog. We all were playing Rock Band over Easter and after seeing how funny it is, I started recording it. Although they are from Easter which was a few months ago...I think it is priceless to see us all...make sure you turn up your volume to hear all our musical abilities...or lack of I should say...

The "Eye of the Tiger" continued...notice Garyen hip dance moves!

Next the ladies tried singing "We Got the Beat" which could not be further from the truth! You will definitely laugh at this video...notice what my mom says at the end after we fail as a band...and please completely disregard my terrible lack of beat and any musical ability...

Carrie's 25th Birthday!

It was my birthday on Wednesday and Jesse made it the most fabulous birthday ever! He cooked me breakfast before work then threw a party with some of our friends that night! Below are a few photos from the party...

Aimee and Bethie came to the party...I am so excited about Bethie being in Myrtle Beach this summer...GA is just too far away!!!

Megan also came to celebrate my birthday...:) It won't be the same this summer without her here!

Since it was my birthday...I painted my toenails with birthday cake, polka dots and presents on them...

Beach Day with the Puppies

On Sunday we took the puppies to the beach for the afternoon. They loved being outside and the warm sunshine. Emma loved the ocean and got in with Jesse for a swim but Lola wanted nothing to do with the water...she dug holes in the sand. Below are a few videos from the day...needless to say both puppies were due for a bath at the end of the day!


Emma loved playing with the frisbee and would run to go catch it...Lola had to stay on the leash though since she likes to run and not come back...hehe!

Puppy Park, Petco and Starbucks!

On Wednesday night we took the puppies to the dog park in Wilmington where they can run free and play with other dogs. We thought they would love it, but it seems as if they only like to play with each other...haha. So after the dog park we decided to take them to Petco for a special treat!

On the way there Jesse sat in the back with them and they loved sticking their heads out the window...isn't Jesse the most handsome man you have ever seen?
Lola is being a daredevil and Emma looks like she is scared to death and holding on to the glass...and Jesse well he is just hilarious!

Rachel was so sweet to come along and help us keep our puppies under control.

Lola was getting fitted for her new harness...what happened to her other one (which was less than a month old and designer? EMMA!)

This picture was taken last night but I had to put it up on the blog...how sweet is Lola? She was sitting with Jesse while he did his homework...I believe she loves her Daddy? What do you think?
