Two Amazing Men+Lots of Hard Work+24 Hours = Back To Normal :)

Thanks to an AMAZING Daddy, Mom and Husband, our house is back to normal. When my parents heard the news they loaded up the Suburban with all kinds of cleaning and putty stuff and headed down to the coast. My mom was in such a hurry she even forgot her hairbrush and blow dryer...you know her baby girl was upset when she forgets those! But thanks to two hard workers and a 24 hour Walmart, the boys had the bathroom fixed when mom and I got up the next morning to start cleaning. They started about 11:00 pm and got to bed around 3:30 am...talk about some hard work, huh?

This photo is after the first round of putty and sanding...

And just 10 hours after the fire it looked liked this...yeah they are pretty much AMAZING!!!

Hard-core with the Diet Mountain Dew...

Yeah, you know you are jealous..haha. We were picking on Dad for having his pants up so high...haha. But they can wear them however they want when they do great work like they did!
This photo is after mom and I got in there and finished the cleaning and decorating part. Pretty cute huh? My mom helped me clean the entire house, top to bottom and get the smoke smell out. She also brought me new duvet covers for the beds and towels...wow what would I do without her?

We still have to buy a new lighting fixture since the other melted but other than that... you would never know a fire was here only 24 hours ago.

We learned many things from this experience....
1. God is good all the time!
2. We have some of the most amazing parents any kid could wish for.
3. Make sure you ALWAYS blow out your candles!

We Made A Big Ole' Boo Boo...

Last night we had some of our friends over and lit a candle in the guest bathroom. Well we forgot to blow it out and Jesse came home at 4 o'clock to a house full of smoke and a burnt guest bathroom. After a very emotional day, we are blessed the fire only reached the bathroom and we still have a house to sleep in tonight. God is good all the time...:) Oh and Lola is ok...she was really shaken up when Jesse got home and was disoriented from the smoke but she is doing great now after a few treats and lots of love.

The bathroom...this is what we came home to. The item on the top is the Kleenex holder and below that is the towels after being reduced to ashes...
After doing a bit of clean up....

The shower curtain...

Needless to say we will check all the candles before going to bed or out of the house....

Playing with Lola

Tonight we had some fun with Lola. She is having a hard time getting use to the hardwood floors...but after playing so hard she quickly passed out from all her excitement!

She loves relaxing and watching tv...

How sweet is our puppy?
I made her some Peanut Butter Puppy Poppers and Andrew tried them out...needless to say Lola liked them much more than he did...but then again Andrew will eat just about anything!
"It taste like Peanut Butter Bread...all you need is some grape jelly" -Andrew

Lots and lots of doggie treats...
