The Sheetrock is Almost Complete!

This is from the living room towards the hallway/kitchen/laundry area....the front door is to the right and the back porch is to the left... This photo is what you see when you walk in the front door looking straight ahead...it is the kitchen (the pipe sticking up is where the sink goes and the doors go to the screened in porch.

More Siding Goes Up!

On Sunday, we went out to the house to look and they had put on more of the siding and the metal stuff around the roof...haha. Like my technical terms? Below are some photos...

Insulation is In!

Today most of the siding and all the insulation went in/on our new home!! It is getting to be so exciting, we can hardly wait for it to be finished!

We are getting sooo excited and cannot wait for it to be finished!

Day 15...The Windows and Doors go in...:)

So on Day 15...they put in all windows and doors in the house and it is completely framed in with the shingles on. It is amazing how fast our house is going up!!! They said they will not be complete till January 15th but it sure seems as if it will be ready much sooner.

This is the screened in porch on the back. So far they have just extended the roof line and have to pour the concrete slab it will sit on. Although it doesn't look it in the photo...it is a 12 by 12.

Last Thursday we had a meeting with the builder and decided such things as the ceramic tile, siding color, flooring color, cabinets, and shingles for the roof. It was so exciting but at times overwhelming...you want to make the right decision but there are so many choices...ahh. Wish us luck... :)

The builder said he will have a roof on by Saturday so we will see...we will keep you updated with daily photos of the progress. :)
