Bryson's First Month

It is hard to believe our little blessing is already one month old.  Over the past month, Jesse and I have learned a lot; how to live on very little sleep, how washing bottles seems to be the most redundant task  of all and how much we love this little man.  He is a very good baby and we feel so blessed.  Below are some pictures from the past month...

Here he is on the way home from the hospital...

Our first night a home...Daddy was putting on his pj's!
After our first sponge bath...I love the monkey towel!
It doesn't seem like it in this picture, but he actually does enjoy bath time!

Our Blessing is Here...

After 20 hours of waiting and LOTS of drugs...our little miracle made his big debut in this world.  It all began early Friday morning, April 9th when we got to the hospital around 6 am.  Soon we were admitted and began this long and very tiring journey of his arrival.  Throughout the day the family arrived and waited as we slowly progressed.  Finally at around 12 am, Saturday morning Dr. Hall decided the best option was a c-section since there was no progression, he was turned face up and the mommy to be was so exhausted that pushing was close to impossible.  After getting all suited up, see the Daddy below, we made our way to the OR where our lives were forever changed.  I got more drugs, the sheet went up and not 10 minutes later we heard the cry of our son..the best sound in the world.  Jesse went over and got him then brought him to me so i could see our little miracle.  At that moment all the memories of pain and exhaustion fell away and i immediately fell in love.  Words cant express how amazing Dr Hall was and I'll never forget her laugh as she pulled all 8 lbs 3 oz out and told me we made the right decision...he would have never come out!  Below are a few pictures from the stay in the hospital...

There have been lots of changes around our household and lots less sleep but we wouldn't change a thing about our little blessing.   Who knew you could love someone so much you have only known a short while?
