We bought a house...

We took our first big step as husband and wife this past Friday, September 26th...

We bought a house!

On Thursday we went and looked at the same house (only 200 square feet smaller) and the possible lots to build it on. We knew immediately this was it and made an offer. The next day, we had a house! Over the weekend, my boss Carol, called and stated they had already begun clearing the land and it looked good so we could hardly wait to see it on our way back in to town Sunday. When we arrived it was around 10:00 pm so we could hardly see anything but that sure didn't keep us from getting excited.

Yesterday Mom and Dad came and we went to the lot where they are about to begin building...below are some photos...

In this area, you can only clear so many trees...it is a Woodpecker Endangered Species Protected Area...how crazy?

Jesse talked with the builder yesterday and he said they would begin framing on Thursday...WOW! How exciting? Our target closing date is January 15th of next year so only a few more months! We meet with the builder on Thursday to decide roofing/outside color/paint colors, etc....how exciting!?! God is sooo good and has blessed us beyond what we deserve.

There is no place like home and nothing greater than family...

This past weekend we went to Coats and spent the weekend with family. The boys played golf...minus little T...(he has just a few more years till he can head out to the greens with the boys). Trust me though, he wasn't too sad he had to go with the ladies...he got a couple new outfits, new shoes and tried a new snack...but shhh that one is a secret! ;) Below is some photos of the weekend...you can see who was the main man of the weekend...:)

It was so great to see everyone and spend some time together. Good thing Christmas is only a few months away...I don't know how long we can go without little Turners sugar!

Lola Goes to the Beach

This past Friday Lola and I went to the beach while Jesse was working. There was the most beautiful sunset on the ocean...it looks as if Heaven is opening up... Lola and I on the beach...

After taking Lola out there I realized she wasn't big on the sand or getting wet in the ocean...I think she believes she is a princess...I don't know who she gets that from....???

I think Miss Lola was tired after her trip to the beach...
