Lead Me to the Cross-Silent Worship 09'

This past Sunday was Silent Worship. As usual it went amazingly and was very powerful. It always amazes me how much we can get from just sitting and being silent. I believe all too often we get caught up and forget to just be quiet and let God speak. This year it was all about how to love Him... Enjoy the photos...

This is a picture from the very beginning with the staff...
Rachel, Joy and I were in charge of painting this cross under "Thank Him"...

As you can see the cross is covered in dirt with blood at His hands and feet and the crown of thorns at the top...
After we finished...
Each staffer was given a name tag and during the service they came and hung up their name tag on the cross...
At the end everyone was given a new name tag with different bible verses for each section of the worship service...an amazing daily reminder...
The 1st section was "Worship Him" Ephesians 1:3-11
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ. In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.
The 2nd section was "Know Him" Philippians 3:10
I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death
The 3rd section was "Thank Him" Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God
The 4th section was "Surrender to Him" Romans 12:1-2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spirituala]"> act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
The 5th section was "Trust Him" Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.
The 6th section was "Love Him" John 15:9-12
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
The 7th section was "Serve Him" Ephesians 2:10
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
I took some photos of my favorite signs and quotes...

This one states "Come as you are....BrOkEn and BeAuTiFuL!"
Lead me to the Cross...where you love was poured out...
"Offer your bodies as living sacrifices...holy and pleasing to God"
"Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding"
