Danner Family Christmas

We traveled to Huntersville on Christmas Eve day to celebrate and spend time with the Danner side of our families. It was so much fun all being together and celebrating this special season. When we first got there we went to the Christmas Eve service with Jesse's parents and then everyone else came Christmas Day. It was so great to see Whitney and Adam since we had not seen them since May. It is also pretty exciting to know the next time we see them we will have our little addition to the family. Below are some pictures from our time with his family.

As you can see Jesse and I are enjoying the big breakfast Christmas Day morning...yummmm.
Relaxing and waiting to open presents...
Dad Danner opening one of his gifts...
Momma Danner opening hers...
Jesse got this hilarious sign from Santa...haha! That is so perfect for our porch!
Posing by the Christmas tree...Merry Christmas!
Whitney and Adam
Once Emily got there we opened our stockings and at the bottom was a scavenger hunt. We had a list of things to do before we could find our money on the tree. Here we are having a race with our little wind up animals...Emily's caterpillar won!
Another part of the scavenger hunt was playing a round of Nerts...always a classic in the Danner household.
We also went up to Aunt Kristy's home to have the Minton family Christmas. We enjoyed lots of good food and fellowship with a good ole round of dirty Santa. There was plenty of snow in the mountains which made for cute pictures. Here is the whole gang all together.
The girl "children" ...how pretty?
Smile!
The adults..smile!The whole gang...pretty good for so many people huh? Yay for Christmas!
It was so great to see everyone and have some time off work to relax and spend with family. Santa was very good to us so we have to remember to be good all year in 2010! Just think....next year there will be an addition to this picture...

Christmas at the Dennings...

From Friday till Christmas Eve, Jesse and I were at my parents house in Coats. We had such a good time relaxing and spending time with family. Santa was very good to us bringing us Bryson's crib and dresser with some special things for the mom and dad to be. We definitely were on the nice list this year...but maybe the grand baby on the way has something to do with that...hehe :)

Jesse and I were opening our stockings...Santa came early!

Early Thanksgiving at Carrie's

We went to Coats the weekend before Thanksgiving to see my parents and celebrate early with my family. Garyen, Bethany and Turner flew in to town for the weekend and we even got to ride on the private jet from Wilmington. Below are a few photos of the weekend....

Jesse and I at my parents...
Turner playing Rock Band...how cute is he?
A future rock star in the making...
Baby Bryson at 18 weeks...
All Mom and Dad's babies...Jesse, me, Garyen, Beth and Turner...
It was so great all being together to spend time and fellowship. Especially since Jesse and I won't be able to see Garyen and Beth for Christmas! The next time we all get together, we will both have new babies! How exciting?

Jesse's Birthday Photos! (Over a Month Later...whoops!)

For Jesse's birthday, we had a Camping Party! It was a great time with friends a family at our home. Below are a few photos from the great night.

This is my cake...it is a camp ground with a hammock and fire pit....

It was so great having both sets of parents and grandaddy there to celebrate this big birthday!
Jesse with his cake...

Make a wish...
I got so many wonderful gifts, which as you all had to know involved Carolina. Here I am with my new hat!
We all know what a huge Carolina fan Jesse is but his father in law pulls for the Wolfpack. This fact made this gift even better...an autographed piece of flooring from Carolina... the video won't upload so more pics to come of the floor.

Bryson Ray Danner is on the way!

On Monday we went to the doctor for the long awaited ultrasound to tell us if it was a girl or a boy! We were so excited to see how much he had grown and after a few moments of trying to get him to hold still long enough to get a photo we saw it was definitely a boy! I think we were both so excited and just in shock at how amazing it was to see him at last! The nurse told us he weighs 12 ounces...so he is definitely a growing boy! Here are a few shots of the little man taken with my camera phone of the actual ultrasound photos. Sorry they are so blurry but it's the best we could do. Throughout the entire ultrasound he would hardly keep still long enough to get a photo at all...needless to say I don't believe he likes getting his picture made!

The nurse said he had the cutest little profile and of course we would have to agree...and wouldn't you know it...he has his mommy's little nose. Jesse and I decided he was waving to us and everyone in this photo saying "hello"!
This is our photo which confirms it is a boy...This is of his little foot...he sure does like kicking those things!!!
We are so excited about our little man! Now to clear out his room and start decorating...the fun part! We will keep you all updated on him and his little room. Thanks for all the prayers, calls and cards...your support means the world to us!

The Beamer Had a Bump Up...

Monday started out great...Jesse didn't have to be at work till 11 and I had to be there at 9 so we slept in till 8:15! Of course this leaves me no time for showering so I just threw on the old Polo hat and left for work. Later on in the morning I took Bella to the post office to mail a few packages then by the party store to buy her a big pink balloon. On our way home from the store we got in little bump up. While stopped at the light another lady behind me ran in to the back of me and well...let's just say my car doesn't show how bad hers was messed up.

The highway patrol could not believe my car only showed that much damage after looking at her front hood pretty much smashed in completely. Jesse and I had both questioned if this car was worth the money and after today we both have no worries. I honestly did not even think it did that much damage when she hit me but that just goes to show the back of the car took the impact very well. Jesse saved the day by taking care of everything from the insurance calls to being there to make me feel better...I am so blessed with such an amazing husband. We are both feeling good about the car now and it carrying baby Danner in the future now that it has shown it's dependability.

Below are a few photos of the car after the accident...the lower plastic bumper took most of the heat.

After we got everything sorted out there, we went to Caswell to drop Jesse back off at work. Rachel was about to leave so she was nice enough to drop me off at Hertz for the rental car. Once we got there we realized my license was expired...that is something I definitely had no idea was anywhere near renewing. Thankfully she took me to Wilmington, got my new license and had me back at Hertz before they closed. She was definitely a life saver!

At the end of this long day we played Scrabble and were thankful for all we have!
