Last night we had some of our friends over and lit a candle in the guest bathroom. Well we forgot to blow it out and Jesse came home at 4 o'clock to a house full of smoke and a burnt guest bathroom. After a very emotional day, we are blessed the fire only reached the bathroom and we still have a house to sleep in tonight. God is good all the time...:) Oh and Lola is ok...she was really shaken up when Jesse got home and was disoriented from the smoke but she is doing great now after a few treats and lots of love.

Needless to say we will check all the candles before going to bed or out of the house....

Just heard about this today. You are soooo lucky!! I am so glad the house did not burn down & that Lola is ok. I am glad you both are ok too. You know, they do make flameless candles. Might be a good idea to put them in places you don't have to worry about checking. Love You!
